I never thought he would be the first from our family - I remember telling him when I was leaving Ulan-Ude: "Please, take good care of Mom and Grandma."

I'm happy I saw him 2 months ago and he met his grandsons who were born here in the US.

I left pants of my 8 months old baby when going back to th US, and he kept them in his closet in his bedroom.

I remember him telling to my baby who was laying down on my Dad's chest - "You did not leave yet, but I already miss you".

I remember when Luke climbed onto my Dad's bed and started jumping on his stomach - Dad was still asleep, and he just roared - "What are you doing??"

I remember him watching Russian cartoons "Nu Pogodi" with Luke and having fun like a child.

I remember him changing diapers, and since he was doing it first time, he did it very slow and not very skillfully.

So, thank you, Daddy for all you did for me, for us - I wish I told you - I LOVE YOU, please forgive me for telling this to you now, when it's too late.
