Buryat Republic Anthem Name: Anthem of the Buryat Republic Date Adopted: 1995 Lyrics: Not Available Flag Date Adopted: 1992 Description: The flag of the Buryat Republic is a rectangular panel consisting of three horizontal colored stripes: the top - blue component of the two quarters of the breadth, the middle - a white, being one quarter the width, and bottom - yellow, which is one-fourth the width of the flag. In the upper left corner of the blue part of the flag at a distance of one quarter of the length of the flag from the flagpole is depicted in yellow traditional symbol of Buryatia (Soyombo) represents the image of the moon, the sun and focus in the following sequence: at the bottom - the crescent moon above it - a circle of the sun, and above them - the image of three fire flames.
