Тонкий - самый узкий из Ушканьих островов.
Ушканьи острова — главное место обитания байкальской нерпы (самая крупная колония).
Остров - часть особо охраняемой территории Забайкальского национального парка.
Буряты верили, что здесь живут духи-хозяева Байкала, и без особой нужды причаливать опасались.

Thin is the narrowest of the Ushkany Islands. The Ushkany Islands are the main habitat of the Baikal seal (the largest colony).
The island is part of the specially protected territory of the Trans-Baikal National Park.
The Buryats believed that the host spirits of Lake Baikal lived here, and they were afraid to dock unnecessarily.

Остров Малый Колтыгей или Голый.
Остров очень маленький и почти лишён растительности — за это и получил народное название «Голый».
Колонии бакланов облюбовали остров из-за его «голой» поверхности: мало деревьев и травы, зато много удобных камней и открытых мест для гнездования.
Их помёт (гуано) настолько сильно изменяет поверхность, что камни и почва становятся белесыми и «выжженными» — именно поэтому остров выглядит ещё более пустынным.

Maly Koltygey Island or Naked Island.
The island is very small and almost devoid of vegetation, which is why it received the popular name "Naked".
Cormorant colonies have chosen the island because of its "naked" surface: few trees and grass, but plenty of convenient rocks and open nesting areas.
Their droppings (guano) change the surface so much that the rocks and soil become whitish and "scorched" — which is why the island looks even more deserted.

Дацан богини Янжимы находится в Баргузинском районе и к нему ежегодно приезжают тысячи паломников, чтобы зарядиться священной энергией, а также исполнить заветные мечты.
Отзывы о дацане Янжимы сводятся к тому, что вначале никто не верит в чудодейственность этого места, но побывав здесь, практически все меняют своё мнение. Возле храма и священного валуна легко ощутить мощную энергетику, воздействующую на сознание пришедших.

The datsan of the goddess Yanzhima is located in the Barguzinsky district and thousands of pilgrims come to it every year to recharge their sacred energy and fulfill their cherished dreams.
Reviews of the Yanzhima datsan come down to the fact that at first no one believes in the miraculous nature of this place, but after visiting here, almost everyone changes their mind. Near the temple and the sacred boulder, it is easy to feel the powerful energy that affects the consciousness of the visitors.
